2025 Kia K4: Starting at $23,995, Featuring 2 Powertrain Options and Extensive ADAS

Kia Canada has revealed the pricing structure for its first-ever K4 compact sedan, set to arrive at dealerships across the country in October. The 2025 K4 aims to redefine expectations in the compact segment with advanced technology, refined design, and impressive interior space.

The K4 will be available in five trim levels, with pricing as follows:

  • LX IVT: $23,995
  • EX IVT: $26,495
  • EX+ IVT: $27,995
  • GT-Line Turbo: $31,495
  • GT-Line Turbo Limited: $34,495

David Sherrard, Director of Strategic Planning at Kia Canada, emphasized the K4's standout features: "The K4 sets a new benchmark in the compact car segment with inspiring design, meaningful standard features, as well as plenty of technology to meet the needs of many."

The K4 boasts the largest footprint in its class, measuring 4,709 mm in length and 1,849 mm in width. This translates to generous interior space, particularly for rear passengers, who will enjoy 965 mm of legroom and 947 mm of headroom.

Two powertrain options will be available. The standard 2.0-liter engine produces 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with an intelligently variable transmission (IVT). This configuration achieves impressive fuel economy ratings of 7.9/5.8/7.0 litres/100km (city/highway/combined) for the LX trim.

For those seeking more performance, the GT-Line Turbo models feature a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine generating 190 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. These variants also include a multi-link rear suspension for enhanced driving dynamics.

The K4's interior showcases Kia's commitment to technology, with a standard integrated digital instrumentation system featuring a nearly 30-inch display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity come standard across all trims.

Safety is a priority in the K4, with a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) included as standard equipment. These features include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Follow Assist, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go.

Higher trim levels offer additional premium features such as Digital Key 2.0, a Harman Kardon premium audio system, heated steering wheel, and a wide sunroof. The K4 also supports Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, allowing for future enhancements to its digital capabilities.

The 2025 Kia K4 is now available for order, with the first deliveries expected to begin in October.
